Hardwood Floor Cleaning and Polishing
Hardwood floors gather a lot of dirt and residue over time. To leave your floors looking their best, we use the BONA® Hardwood Floor Cleaning System. In addition to cleaning your hardwood floors, we can also apply Bona’s Urethane Maintenance treatment, which comes in a satin or gloss finish. This will revitalize your wood floor’s finish and add a luster that keeps your floors looking "like new". This product can be recoated as it is actual urethane.
Unlike wax, or products that contain acrylic wax, the urethane reinforces the existing floor finish and fills in micro scratches by bonding to the existing floor finish. This gives your hardwood floors sparkle and leaves the floor looking and feeling wonderful. For oil finished floors, or floors that have had acrylic wax applied, we cannot use a urethane coating. Prior to reinforcing the urethane finish on polyurethane floors that have had acrylic wax applied, we will need to remove the wax.
Polishing and recoating your hardwood floor is an important maintenance step to ensuring your wood floors look great and last for a long time. Cleaning the wood floors removes dirt, residues, and old wax, and over time the urethane coatings, and other hardwood floor coatings, breakdown and wear off. Having a professional Hardwood Floor Cleaning and Polishing service done annually, such as that offered by Clean Master Carpet Cleaning, will keep your floors looking great. We have skilled technicians who have the experience and training necessary to deliver high quality service without damaging your hardwood flooring.
Many other floor cleaning companies use buffers, mops, and high moisture, water based products to clean your floors, and then top with an acrylic wax. Our Hardwood Floor Cleaning and Polishing service uses BONA® equipment and products exclusively. This will not cause any damage to your floors. We offer our services throughout Dallas/Fort Worth and the surrounding cities of the DFW Metroplex.
