Carpet Stretching
Carpeting relaxes over time. Add to that the action of people walking on carpets and furniture being moved and eventually you get noticeable wrinkles, ripples and bulges in carpeting. It is important to have carpet properly stretched to prevent ripping or tearing as well as to keep it from being a tripping hazard.
The Carpet Stretching Process
1.
We detach the carpet from the tack strips around the edges.
2.
We pull the carpet tight using a power stretcher.
3.
We place the carpet onto the tack strips using a knee kicker.
4.
We trim the excess carpet and tuck the edges back in place.
Why Carpet Stretching Matters
Stretching your carpet doesn't just improve the appearance, it also extends its life. A properly stretched carpet lays flat and smooth, preventing premature wear, trip hazards, and potential damage. Whether you're preparing for a home sale or just want your space to look its best, professional carpet stretching can make your carpet look newer and last longer.
